Starting in Academic Year 2023-24, Dr. Angel Adams Parham, Associate Professor of Sociology at the University of Virginia and Senior Fellow at the Institute for Advanced Studies in Culture, will serve as the Associate Director for PST.
Angel is a historical sociologist, social theorist, and public intellectual whose has written with great depth and breadth about race and racism, classical literature and education, and the political and social history of the Atlantic world.
She will work with PST students to help develop their thesis ideas, find a thesis advisor, program PST events, and serve on the admissions committee. Welcome Dr. Parham!
